We love our mushrooms, especially the functional kind! Over the years we've tried different brands, blends and varieties to see what worked for us, and what tasted good (or like dirt). What we didn't love, is where the mushrooms were being sourced, or how they blended into our lifestyle.
After watching Fantastic Fungi, we became obsessed with finding Australian grown mushrooms — free from chemicals, incorporating both the fruiting body and mycelium. That search led us to a wholesale grower in the Yarra Valley.
We thought, "Well, if we want these, surely other people do too?" So, we decided to just start a mushroom business! In 2022 we launched at the Uraidla Sustainability Fair, and that our friends, is how Acacia Blends was born.

This has been such an easy product to incorporate into my routine. I stir a teaspoon in my tea every night to help with my recovery. Since taking this, my muscle soreness and recovery has improved as well as helping to offset my less healthy habits (red meat and wine, mainly). I've also added to protein muffins, shakes and other recipes to add a little added goodness.
